Australian Certified Kitchen Designers
By Kevin Sorby | Kitchen Designer & Cabinetmaker
What is a Certified Kitchen Designer?
Certified Kitchen Designers (CKDs) are professionals with official training and specialized expertise. They specialize in designing kitchen spaces that balance practical functionality with aesthetic appeal, ensuring every design meets the unique requirements and tastes of their clients.
To earn this designation, individuals must fulfill the rigorous qualifications outlined by the Housing Industry Association - National Kitchen and Bath Association (HIA-NKBA).
CKDs possess in-depth knowledge of kitchen layouts, cabinetry, appliances, lighting, and technical components. By collaborating closely with clients to understand their specific needs, preferences, and budgets, they create optimized designs using industry best practices. Choosing a Certified Kitchen Designer ensures your project is executed to the highest professional standards.
